| Description of the problem | I took my truck in almost a year ago in march to have recall on transmission downshift repaired. Just in the last month i have had to bring my truck in 3 times. Twice my truck downshifted while on the sh-130 tollway going 80mph and down shifting to 40 mph almost causing me to wreck or be struck by another vehicle. Again today i was driving my vehicle on hwy and engine light came on. Same effect except this time my truck refused to move without turning it off in the middle of traffic. This is 3xs my life has been in jeopardy in a short period of time. I have taken it to ford dealership where they insisted transmission downshift issue was repaired and suggested a tune up was best option. Hundreds of dollars out and again i |
