Description of the problem	My truck suddenly downshifted from 6 gear to 1st gear, and almost caused me to crash. I looked online to see if other 2013 ford f150 owners have had this happen to them and saw there was a safety recall on my truck (nhtsa recall #19v-075). On 1/6/2020 i took my truck to tomball ford dealership and they confirmed i needed the repairs listed in recall 19v-075. The service advisor reached out to ford to make sure the repairs would be covered free of charge. I was then informed that ford denied my claim and would not offer any assistance toward the recall, due to my truck having 154,000 miles. I was then charged $1,328. 31 to have the repairs performed by tomball ford.
