| Description of the problem | On 10 aug 2019 i took my ford in for transmission recall, reprogramming to prevent uncontrolled downshifting. I had never had had any problems with downshifting prior to this date. Once recall was done within a week my truck drastically downshifted twice before taking it back to the dealer who performed the recall. They said there was no problem with my truck and told me my wheels locking was not a sign of downshifting. Now i continue to have downshifting issues and also am throwing a p0720 code. I just know that the downshifting broke the leadframe and i looking at a huge bill. Now vehicle goes into limp mode where i have to stop and restart my car to get speedometer to show. |
