Description of the problem	While driving about 45 mph on a city road the truck suddenly downshifted into either 1st or 2nd gear. This caused a sudden slow down and loss of power while in traffic. The powertrain warning indicator light flashed and my truck went into limp mode for the remainder of the ride home. After parking my truck and re starting the vehicle, no warning indicators are visible, check engine light is not on and the truck seems to be operating normal. I contacted ford customer service and they said my truck was under the recall, but no fix was currently available. Ford customer service then told me to take my truck to a dealership and they would tell me if it was safe to continue to drive. Quick recap: the truck downshifted, sudden slow down, recall states this may cause loss of control of vehicle, ford says no fix available at this time, ford also says take it to a dealership even though they admit the dealership cant fix it. Ford also refused to provide documentation stating the vehicle was or was not safe to drive.
