| Description of the problem | My truck is affected by an open recall and ford will not fix it. This has already cost almost $500, completely out of my own pocket. The truck downshifted from 6th gear to 1st while i was diving on the highway at 55 mph. This caused a transmission line to completely sheer at the connection. There is currently a recall for this exact problem but the ford dealership told me they were informed in am email from ford not top flash the update for 2013 models because it wasn't working. In response, the dealership fixed the line and charged me full price. Now the service wrench is flashing again. |
