Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford f-150. Shortly after the vehicle was purchased, the contact stated that the gears independently downshifted from a high gear to a lower gear without warning. In addition, various warning indicators and gauges illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by a dealer. The place from where the vehicle was purchased provided a 30 day warranty and could not diagnose the failure. Two days after the warranty expired, an independent mechanic diagnosed that the transmission assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure continued intermittently. The contact later received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v075000 (power train) and was waiting on the manufacturer to receive a dealer referral to repair the vehicle. The part was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the recall notice. The failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.
