| Description of the problem | 19s07 transmission downshifting from 6th to 1st. I experienced the exact symptoms for the recall. I took the truck to the dealer lou fusz they told me that it was a tranmission sensor and stated it would be over $900 to fix it. The work was performed and the truck has not done it since. I received the notice and called ford and they are denying the claim to reimburse for the repairs that were made because the truck had done the downshift more than 10 times. The last time was the only time ford dealer told me they found the solution. This is not been handled correctly and i am not wanting to take the truck back on the highway after going from 70 mph down to 1st gear locking up the truck and sliding. |
