Description of the problemWhile accelerating from a stop, transmission shifts from 1st to 5th. This prevents the vehicle from accelerating properly. Must pull over and restart vehicle to reset the transmission to 1st. Very dangerous when pulling into traffic!! While driving at 70 mph on the interstate highway with the cruise control engaged the vehicle will shift to 5th. Cruise control goes out, speedometer goes to 0, odometer goes blank. Check engine and airbag lights come on, truck goes into limp mode (doesn't want to accelerate). See picture of instrument panel, i was driving @ 65-70mph at the time. Must pull over and restart vehicle to reset transmission. This has happened sporadically many times. At least my vehicle hasn't shifted from 6th to 1st like so many others i've read about... Yet!!!!
