| Description of the problem | When starting the truck and putting into drive, the transmission will shift into 5th gear and remain there. I have to pull over, stop the vehicle, place the transmission into park and restart the engine to clear this error. Also, while driving on the highway yesterday, my truck suddenly shifted into third gear. I then recovered shortly into fifth gear before going into 6th gear. The shifting is now intermittently wonky. |
