Description of the problemTransmission lost power at 75 miles per hour on the highway. The wrench sign came on dash and then all displays showed -----. Additionally, the speedometer stopped working and the air bag light illuminated. When transmission reengaged, it was in 3rd gear, causing wheels to lose traction. I was able to navigate heavy traffic to get to the shoulder, where truck shifted to 5th gear once stopped. I was able to make it off the highway, however, the truck would shift randomly between 3rd, 4th and 5th gear but would not shift in to 1st, 2nd or 6th. Grapevine ford dealership pulled code p0722 from 6r80 transmission and determined transmission lead frame was faulty. Ford does not accept responsibility and will not pay for this known problem. The 6r80 lead frame has been recalled on 2011 and 2012 f150's but has not yet been recalled on 2013 f150's.
