| Description of the problem | While driving at highway speed the transmission abruptly down shifts to first gear. In the winter with snow/ice on the road this causes the rear wheels to lock-up . I do not want someone to run into the rear of my vehicle or loose control. The truck was assembled in sept of 2012. The engine is a 3. 7 liter w/ 6 speed auto. 4 wheel drive. In june of 2018 (6/22/2018) i brought this truck to copper country ford, houghton mi. And had the service department "reflash" update the tcm ( transmission control module) |
