Description of the problem	When driving down the road, the truck lost speedometer reading and automatic transmission began shifting erratically. Tranmission shift lever was moved to manual with no change in behavior. This resulted in an unsafe emergency stop on the side of the road during heavy traffic conditions. Condition reset only after truck was turned off and back on. Problem repeated itself on drive to dealership. Dealership determined it was transmission lead frame and replaced it. Was informed that my truck build date was just outside of the recalled date window so i paid the $870 for the repair.
