| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford f-150. The contact stated that within a year of owning the vehicle, the gear was in drive and independently downshifted while driving 70 mph or higher. The failure caused the speed to drastically reduce and potentially cause a crash. The contact had to quickly and cautiously coast the vehicle over to the side of the road.
