| Description of the problem | My 2013 ford f-150 fx4 3. 5l v6 automatic transmission is jumping, gets stuck in the first gear or sometimes 5th gear. Have to put the vehicle in park and then sometimes shut it off and turn it back on. Driving at 30 miles an hour at times it would jump and buck hard. Took it to the dealer. They had it for about a week and were unable to duplicate the problem. This issue is very irritating and it feels very dangerous to me. Trying to pull out into traffic and then the transmission starts to jump around or is stuck in 5th and you cant get moving is dangerous. The dealer would not offer a repair because they could not duplicate the problem while they had it. But of course it happened on the way home after i picked it up. It is random, but happens every few days. |
