Description of the problem	While driving on the highway, the rear axel broke at the weld. We were able to get off the highway safely and to a brake maters. We were told that this should not have happened and that it was a defect in the welding. We had ford tow it to bell ford in phoenix and contacted ford corporate to request an investigation. Ford ignored our claim and closed it out, without even doing an investigation. The service dept at bell ford provided horrible customer service and did nothing to assist us with our claim either. We had the vehicle towed elsewhere to be fixed, as we could not afford the $2,700. 00 bell ford wanted to charge us.
