| Description of the problem | Upon acceleration, generally from a stop, the vehicle will, thud, lose power and cease to accelerate despite pedal being pushed. It also tends to be accompanied by the speedometer jumping. No warnings or messages are displayed in the vehicle. After pressing the pedal several times and nearly rolling to a stop, control over acceleration will eventually resume. The loss of control over acceleration causes a safety risk, especially when pulling out into traffic. This issue does not occur consistently, but was happening with some regularity approximately 1 month ago as well. |
