| Description of the problem | On several occasions within the last month, the transmission suddenly, without any warning, shifted into first gear while driving normally, with transmission in d. I estimate that driving speeds during these occurrences varied between 10 and 35 mph. During a couple of occurrences, the gear selection indicator could be seen flashing quickly between several of the lower gears. The date entered below was the date of the most recent occurrence. I have made an appointment with the service department of a local ford dealer for monday, jan 22, 2018. |
