Description of the problem	While driving the vehicle at 50mph the truck suddenly shifted from 5th gear to 1st gear causing the rear wheels to loose traction and loss of control into on coming cars in a turn lane. After a few seconds noticing the rpm's reached 6800 the truck shifted to 3rd gear and i was able to avoid impact. No trouble lights or any indications were given. I'm filing a complaint to see if any other owners of this year truck are having this problem. There is a recall 16s19 for 2011-2012 ford trucks but when asking ford about my 2013 doing the same thing i get shunned. The damage caused by the down shift has resulted in the truck needing a complete new transmission which was stated by ford's field service rep. My truck has been sitting at the dealer since april 18th and is still not drivable after 2 different attempts to fixing the problem.
