Description of the problem	Vehicle decelerated during attempt hard acceleration. Had loss of power while trying to accelerate on two separate occasions. Once while accelerating on an on ramp and once during acceleration up a steep incline and highway speeds. Both during wet conditions. Check engine light came on while decelerating and then went off after slowing and pulling to side of road. Dangerous circumstance while trying to merge and from overtaking traffic.
