| Description of the problem | Fortunately, we had just returned from avoiding hurricane irma after 1100 miles. A battery indicator came on at a stop light. It went away until 3 intersections and turns when i pulled into traffic on 66th st n st. Petersburg fl and quickly lost power. A message appeared on panel to put vehicle in park. I was able to coast to a left turn lane and had it towed to closest ford dealer that was open, walker ford. See repair invoice attached. I was fortunate in that it didn't happen in high speed merge attempt between heavy trucks! As the repair seemingly only relocates the fuse and does not address reoccurrence, i believe this was a life threatening safety issue and continues to be a life threatening issue! |
