Description of the problem	For the second time in 9 months the throttle body on my ford truck failed. This time it presented a real hazard as we were towing our travel trailer and it's failure put us in a precarious situation as we're trying to merge onto the interstate. The ford dealer fixed it the first time under the extended warranty then the second repair they tried to evade payment. However, after extensive discussion, they found a it was covered by the warranty provided on the first warranty replacement. I realize the nhsa is aware of the problem, however the response is inadequate. The problem has not been resolved by ford, the safety risk is still there. Ford seems to be replacing a defective part with the same item. It continues to fail and now it's the consumer is has to pay the price, both having to pay to have the throttle body repeatedly replaced and risking their safety driving the vehicle.
