Description of the problem	I have a f150 4-wheel eco boost v6. I recently had my vehicle in for an oil change and at that time decided to have the recall done for the software update. The next few days i noticed that there was some hesitation with the gears shifting and the transmission at times would drop. I contacted the dealership to bring my truck back in at that time they could not find anything wrong but an oil pressure sensor. Some days later i was driving on the feeder road getting ready to enter the highway. As soon as i entered my speedometer stop working and the transmission dropped into 1st gear. There was a car behind me that almost collided with my truck. My family was in the car at the time and this could have been a serious accident. The next day i brought my truck back into the dealership and they did a quick diagnosis. They stated that i had transmission issues and that i needed to look into getting another vehicle through them and trading my truck out. I was upset by the response so i took my vehicle to a local transmission shop where they thoroughly inspected the truck. The findings were that the oss sensor was faulty and it pull up a p0270 code. The shop advised me that this was a warranty and safety issue and that i immediately take it back to the dealership to have it repaired. When i return to the dealership they at that time acknowledge that it was a warranty issue and could be fix, but they could not even look at it for 2-weeks and would not even provide a loaner after stating my safety concerns. I then contact ford motor company and they could not assist until the dealership looked at my truck. I did state to them the time issue at the dealership but was told they have no control over what they do. I'm stuck with driving a unsafe vehicle for an issue outside of my control and no one at ford is taking the matter seriously. This could cause a fatal or severe injury.
