| Description of the problem | Since purchased new the engine will intermittently completely shut down especially during damp weather. It has spent weeks at different dealerships yet the problem persists. The engine will sputter and kill taking with it the power steering, brakes, and lights. It is still an issue today. The other problem that is really concerning is the automatic transmission will suddenly shift itself into first gear at highway speeds and send rpms racing for no reason.
