| Description of the problem | I started my truck and the wrench light came on. The truck was in limp mode and would not accelerate. I restarted the truck and was able to pull it back in the driveway. I plugged in an obd code reader and it gave a p2112 "throttle actuator control system stuck closed." upon some research i found several models between 2011 through 2015 have had similar issues causing dangerous situations on the highway. The issue was moving when it first occurred, but thankfully it was just outside my driveway, i hadnt made it to the highway yet. I restarted the truck, and was able to park it in the driveway. |
