| Description of the problem | Reproduceable loss of power after extended highway driving in humid weather. Loss of power happens when the ecoboost intercooler (cac) builds up condensation and then throttle is applied to pass or merge into traffic. When trottle is applied the condesation water is pushed by the turbos psi into the motor. This causes a missfire and the engine to loose power unexpectedly. This has happebed when attempting to pass a slow moving vehicle on a country road with oncomming traffic nearly causing a head on collision. |
