| Description of the problem | I was traveling down a secondary road in rainy conditions at approx 35mph as i pressed the gas to accelerate, the engine lost power and would barely accelerate. Engine light began flashing with what i assume is the infamous ecoboost misfire. The truck is a 2013 with only 13000 miles. Once i stopped briefly the misfire went away and normal operation resumed. There were no other vehicles around but as others have stated this is a problem that needs to be addressed because in different circumstances it has the potential to cause an accident. |
