| Description of the problem | Fuse 27 melted, causing the vehicle to be inoperable. The truck was operating with no issues, but then would not start. The engine would turn over, but not fire. After lots of research, this appears to be a common problem with these vehicles. This happened on 3/23/2019 while we were out of town. Thankfully we were able to get it started otherwise we would have been stranded several hours from home. It happened again on 3/24/2019. After about an hour, we were able to get it started again and immediately went to a service station. The fuse was completely melted. If this had happened while driving, the outcome could have been tragic. |
