Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford f-150. While driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle inadvertently downshifted into third gear and then to first gear as the engine warning indicator illuminated. The contact stated had to depress the brake pedal and shift into neutral to control the vehicle as the vehicle was able to coast to the side of the roadway. After turning off and restarting the vehicle after a few minutes, it was able to drive normally. The failure recurred numerous times.
