| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 ford f-150. While driving approximately 35-45 mph, the contact turned on the defrost. Less than ten minutes later, the rear passenger side window exploded. There were no indicators illuminated before or after the failure. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. Stevens jersey city (740 nj-440 jersey city, new jersey 07305) was notified and stated that they could not diagnose the vehicle without someone assuming responsibility for payment. The ford manufacturer was contacted and stated that there was nothing they could do either if there was no recall on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 45,118. |
