| Description of the problem | Started vehicle, turned on heater and rear defroster (temp approx. 17f). Defroster light would not come on. Drove vehicle to store ( approx. 15 min ride)hit a rough patch of road and noticed a noise at right rear of cab which i thought was ice falling between cab and bed. Parked and shopped. Returned to vehicle and noticed right section of sliding rear window glass was shattered and a piece was laying on bed cover. Examined window and found no sign of any foreign object near window, glass section had fallen from inside out. Area of damaged glass at bottom corner appears to be burnt and discolored. Waiting for response from dealer. Upon online research it appears that this is not a unique occurrence on this ford model and ford has been negligent in accepting responsibility. |
