| Description of the problem | Gears flash on and off, then the accelerator slows down. Goes into nuetral automatically. Randomly shifts between gears causing truck to pick up speed or drastically lose speed without warning. Shifts very hard as well. This has happened while i was driving in our neighborhood as well as on the highway. Seems to happen everytime i drive above 65mph, but occasionally in the neighborhood. The random shifting of gears happened first around 4 years ago, but has been a safety risk for the last 5-6 months due to the increase in it happening. |
