| Description of the problem | While driving my pick up on a cold day with the rear window defroster on, one panel of the rear window shattered. During subsequent driving the rear window fell out of the frame into the bed of the pick up. I believe the defroster malfunctioned and overheated causing the panel to shatter because of the excessive heat being generated by the defroster versus the cold air outside the vehicle. |
