| Description of the problem | There is an issue with the electric brake vacuum pump. It males a loud noise when brakes are used and makes the brake pedal difficult to press down on and have a positive brake reaction. The first distance traveled after initial startup has very little brake activity due to the pump not creating brake pressure. It appears that it is a known issue by ford as some trucks have been recalled based on their manufacture location, my truck was not made at the location needed to qualify for the recall and fix of the problem, however the same issue exists as those that do qualify. |
