| Description of the problem | Vehicle shows huge wrench on screen. Speedometer/odometer stops working and only have 3rd and 5th gear. Next the truck violently downshifted to 1st gear. Took to the dealer to have recall fixed. They said they reset the computer and downloaded new software. 2 days later, truck was stuck in 1st gear. Pulled over, restarted it and seemed fine. Now about once a day, will suddenly shift into 1st at any speed again. Seems like they never fixed. Back in the shop now so let's see what happens. Loss of work, and my safety is a huge concern. Paying for a vehicle that is truly unsafe! |
