| Description of the problem | My 2012 ford f150 has an automatic transmission 6r80. While going 15-20 mph the transmission suddenly and violently downshifts from 2nd to 1st causing the rear tires to slide. This has happened repeatedly. The ford dealership has completed all the known service bulletins which include a software update and a lead frame replacement. This is a dangerous issue on slick roads. |
