| Description of the problem | In tow mode while going down hill at approximately 50 mph while pulling a 4800 lb camper. I tapped the brakes to slow down when the the vehicle shifted to 2nd gear. The rpms jumped up and the vehicle would not shift to a higher gear without feathering the gas pedal. This occurred one other time while pulling my aluminum bass boat. Advised dpatrick ford of the problem. Was told that my vin was not under the recall. The build date of june 2012 falls in the time frame of the recall. This vehicle has 41,100 miles on it. |
