| Description of the problem | After accelerating to 70mph on highway on ramp, then partially releasing accelerator to match other highway vehicle speeds. The speedometer began to oscillate quickly between 10 - 60 mph, although vehicle was not changing speed. Transmission suddenly dropped into 1st gear causing rear end to lockup and slide, engine over rev and loss of control. Vehicle currently at dealership, no codes have been detected. Symptoms seem to be the same as nhtsa campaign# 16v248000 for 2011-2012 f150 with 6r80 transmission for which i have, however my vin is not included as an affected vehicle. |
