| Description of the problem | First national recall (16s19). Software recall repair to prevent transmission from shifting down into 1st while driving. Completed feb 2017. August 2017 while merging onto highway, transmission abruptly shifted into first and locked up my rear wheels. I was never informed by ford that there was an additional fix/recall. Recall (16n02) lead frame replaced august 2017. Repair seems to have addressed shifting problem, but i now transmission damage that ford states is unrelated. |
