| Description of the problem | Loss of power/engine misfires during hard acceleration on mid afternoon friday, june 7, 2013 passing a car at country rd speed or less (was almost at a complete stop while car in front of me turned) in rain. Once i reached destination truck sat until mid day sunday, june 9 when condition recurred on hill climb acceleration in dry conditions. Engine misfire indicator light came on at that time. After pulling over and shutting truck off to check owners manual, the service engine light came on when i started truck back up and has remained on but the issue hasn't recurred. Appt at ford dealer for service on friday, june 14 to check the engine light status and this issue. Engine is 3. 5l v6 ecoboost. |
