| Description of the problem | Ecoboost engine has a terrible miss at idle and blows black smoke at start up. Fuel mileage is also bad due to rich fuel conditions. Ford has replaced many parts including injectors and plugs that were carboned up. Now ford refuses to do anything else until a new calibration program is released mid august 2013. The truck has spent a total of 6 weeks in the shop and is only 10 months old. Bottom line... Ford refuses to honor the warranty. They cant fix it and they wont buy it back. |
