Description of the problem	While passing a vehicle my ford f150 began to shudder dramatically, lost power immediately, causing me to pull to the side of the road. It was raining at the time. This could have definitely caused an accident. The service engine light came on and stayed on. I took it to the dealer and they stated it was a failure of the intercooler for turbo on the ecoboost engine. A replacement part has been ordered but ford states, that due to the massive amount of calls for this part, it would be about 3 months to replace the part. This is definitely an accident waiting to happen, as they told me this could occur again. I have found numerous reports of this happening on other eco boost engines.
