Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2012 ford f-150. While driving approximately 50 mph, the transmission downshifted into first gear without warning. The contact temporarily lost control of the vehicle and it spun out of the right lane into a grassy area. The contact stated that all four tires seized and the vehicle was immediately placed into neutral. The contact was able to stop the vehicle. During the failure, the speedometer and instrument panel became inoperative. The speedometer gauge increased and decreased and the instrument panel lost power completely. The contact was able to restart the vehicle, but the failure recurred. The contact stated that the vehicle downshifted and upshifted randomly.
