| Description of the problem | Truck goes into limp mode while driving and displays a wrench on the screen. Happened multiple times while driving at full speed and once while pulling out into traffic almost causing an accident. Our local ford says they cannot see us for 3 more weeks because they are so busy. A local mechanic tells us it is the throttle body. From what i read this is a common problem. I'm truly scared to drive the vehicle. The vehicle just all the sudden loses all acceleration and stops. The only way to get it moving is to put it in park, turn it off and re-start. When on a highway going 60 miles an hour this is very unsafe! |
