Description of the problem | At 6:00am on 5-26-2019 i started vehicle with both defrosters on. It was parked in driveway. I let vehicle run about 15 minutes to remove fog from windows. Upon re-entry i noticed a burning smell like when you start your furnace for the first time in the winter. I tried to locate the odor, i noticed the odor was strongest in rear seat on passenger side of vehicle. I noticed that the back glass was now shattered but intact. A police report and investigation was performed. The officer concluded that there was no impact. I placed packing tape on window to secure glass until it can be replaced. |
