Description of the problem	I was driving to work on 2/5/19, around 6:45am, and had the rear window defrost on. While in motion on a city street, i heard a loud pop coming from the vehicle. The sound was loud enough to be mistaken for a gun shot. After trying to figure out what the noise was, i noticed in my rear view mirror that the passenger side rear window was completely cracked. I was amazed the entire window didn't collapse inward. After coming to a stop and inspecting the window closer, i was unable to see where any foreign object impacted the window. I believe this incident was caused by the rear window defrost heating the window too rapidly and causing the class to expand too much, causing the failure.
