Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford f-150. While driving approximately 50 mph, the steering wheel detatched from the steering column. The contact pulled over to the road shoulder, pushed the steering wheel back in, and drove to the residence. The following day, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who bolted the steering wheel back to the column. Hertrich ford (9617 ocean gtwy, easton, md 21601) was contacted by phone and referred the contact to headquarters. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
