| Description of the problem | The driver's side seat heater quit working after my wife complained about it "getting so hot it was literally burning her legs". I took apart the seat today to replace the heating pad because i had read about this being a common problem. To my surprise my wife was not exaggerating. There were burn marks on the foam insulation around a connecting piece of the bottom seat heater. My truck is out of warranty, otherwise i probably would've just dropped it off at the dealer and never witnessed this myself. |
