Description of the problem	Sometimes while driving, usually in mountainous terrain or pulling a load, the vehicle will down shift multiple gears. Instead of a progression of one gear at a time, it is a sudden shift from le. Fourth to second or first. I don't know the exact reduction as my vehicle does not have a gear indicator. It occurs sporadically with no warning. This action has never caused a dangerous situation but is concerning. The engine rpm has jumped to the red line which i feel may cause engine and/or transmission problems.
