| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford f-150. While driving various speeds, the fuel field inlet indicator illuminated. Five days later, the check engine indicator illuminated. The local dealer (all star ford 3800 century way pittsburgh, ca 94565) was called and informed the contact that the fuel field inlet failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or repaired. The manufacturer stated that enough complaints had not been filed on that component to create a recall, and offered no further assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000. |
