Description of the problem	I own a 2010 ford f-150 fx4 pickup, purchased new october 2009. Approximately in 2013 the rear window defroster stopped working. The truck is equipped with a power rear sliding window from ford. I took the truck to my local ford dealer to address the issue. The ford dealer service department advised me the problem was with the window itself, and would not be covered under warranty, or ford at all. I have noticed many complaints on the web from owners of ford pickups of the same year and model, the majority of them experiencing broken rear windows, smoke and damage. Like many, i have a small child that sits in a rear facing child's car seat, and am very concerned about this problem. It is very apparent ford is aware of this safety issue, but is not willing to admit to it, or take steps to address it. This issue is a ticking time bomb for ford pickup owners, always worrying if it will happen to them, and when.
